- These are the contest rules in their entirety. No other rules apply, whether implied or expressed.
- The contest will air on WGIV with a beginning and ending date. The contest may end without prior notice. Employees of WGIV, Rejoice Radio Network, Crusader Ministries, 8 Star Construction, their parent companies and subsidiaries, or any other radio station serving the Charlotte Metro Survey as defined by Arbitron Radio Ratings are ineligible to participate, their immediate families members are not eligible to participate or win unless otherwise stated by Management.
- Persons must be at least 18 years of age to participate and win the contest. We will have contest relative to individuals below the age of 18. Proof of identification and age must be presented before claiming prize.
- Only persons who have not won any prize in the last 30 days are eligible to play and win the contest. A person may not call in on behalf of another person.
- Only one winner will be allowed per immediate family and/or household during the contest period.
- Qualifiers must provide their name, address and telephone number to WGIV or his/her designate at time of qualifying.
- Participants are restricted to the use of ordinary telephone equipment and/or the Internet. WGIV disclaims any responsibility for the inability to make or complete a telephone call or the inability to connect to the Internet due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnect, acts of God or otherwise.
- In the event of technical problems with the telephone system causing more than one caller to be on the line at the same time, both lines will be dropped and the next available caller will win. WGIV is not responsible for equipment failure of the telephone system (dropped cellular calls, etc) or failed Internet connection causing a contestant to lose the chance to make a guess.
- All prized must be picked up in person beginning at least two business days after, but no longer than two weeks of date won at the WGIV station at 9349 China Grove Church Rd, Pineville, NC 28134 during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, excluding holidays). Winners will be required to provide proof of identification and sign a release form acknowledging receipt of the prize. Under certain circumstances prizes can be mailed to the winner.
- WGIV reserves the right to refuse awarding any prize to a person who is determined to have violated a rule as outlined above, gained unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtained a winner status using fraudulent means. Each winner is restricted to one win during the contest.
- Winners must present a valid identification in order to claim prize. Winners must grant WGIV the exclusive permission to use his or her name, biographical data, photograph, voice and likeness in connection with promotion of this and other contests and must waive claims of royalty, right of remuneration for such use. Each winner must waive any and all claims of liability against WGIV, its affiliates and their respective employees and agents for any personal injury or loss, which may occur from participation in this contest or from use of the prize.
- Winner is responsible for any and all taxes associated with winning the prize. WGIV will provide the winner with a Form 1099 for tax purposes.
- The station management whose decision is final will decide any questions concerning these rules and the administration of the contest.
- These rules may be amended at any time by WGIV management, without prior notice.
