Driven to be the best in the legal profession, Ken Harris has created a law firm that is dedicated to serving a community of people that desires the best legal representation that the region has to offer.   
 
Harris, a native of Fayetteville, N.C., established Ken Harris and Associates in 1998 and is currently the firm’s sole practicing practitioner.  He received both his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
 
Following his graduation from law school in 1988, Harris joined the Charlotte, N.C. based law firm of Wishart, Norris, Henninger & Pittman a firm that focused on immigration law and plaintiff’s litigation in tort and worker’s compensation matters. 
 
In 1990, Harris joined the law firm of Hoover & Williams, P.A. where he continued to focus on plaintiff’s litigation in tort and worker’s compensation.  Realizing that he had aspirations to begin his own law firm Harris co-founded the law firm of Harris & Drummond in 1992 and the law firm of Todd, Parham, Harris & Dixon, PLLC in 1995. 

In 1992, Harris was named one of the 50 Leaders of Tomorrow by Ebony magazine in the 50th anniversary issue.  Due to his strong background in the field of law, Harris has been featured or highlighted in the North Carolina Lawyers Weekly, The Charlotte Observer, Ebony magazine, Charlotte magazine, The Charlotte Post, Sister Sister magazine, Sports Illustrated, The Wall Street Journal.

Harris continues to strive for excellence in his practice. He has successfully litigated many cases in North Carolina as well as numerous cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals including Bennish v. N. C. Dance Theater, Sanhueza v. Liberty Steel Erectors, and Martin v. Cummins South, Inc.,  Due to the skill that Harris possess, with the help of his co-counsel he obtained one of the largest medical malpractice settlements in the state of N.C. in 2004.  Harris has a wife Felecia and two children.  They reside in Charlotte, N.C.
